We have two versions of the Infinite Loop Battle that differ in dimension, resolution and cycle length. One from youtube, the other from twitter.
We choose to analyze the twitter version because it was the first we encountered. Twitter labeled it as gif but served it as mp4.
The video extends the view further at the bottom, what we will call rank zero in our chess notation. It is higher resolution and runs longer with many cycles in a continuous video.
The author promises new features in the video, one of which we found (the cat glance) to reappear every 21 seconds starting at second 17. Thus at least one out of every seven repeats of the three second loop has modifications.
